Science & Kindness.

I am truly excited to announce the first installment in a new series of editorial projects that I'll be rolling out over the coming weeks and months.

The focus of these interviews will be showcasing local artists, artisans and independent entrepreneurs, with an emphasis on what inspires and motivates them, as well as understanding the challenges that they face while pursuing their creative goals.  Also, addressing the difficulties that many creatives face maintaining a balance between achieving those goals and the reality of keeping a roof over their heads.

The first story is an interview with Satchel B. Moore, owner and operator of Science & Kindness, a rapidly growing denim repair service based in downtown St. Paul.  Satchel is a great example of how creative people can leverage their artistic vision and personal goals by providing unique services to the community and local economy.
